Tom & Cindy Schaefer | Lead Pastors & Elder

Pastors Tom & Cindy have been pastoring NewLife Church since November 2009. They have six children married along with thirteen grandchildren!

After serving for 26 years at Evangel World Prayer Center in Louisville, Kentucky, Tom & Cindy’s experience in leading and growing successful ministries, along with graduation from various ministry schools, has prepared them to serve well as lead pastors!

Since Tom & Cindy have come to NewLife Church, much has transpired! In 2012, our name was changed from Bowling Green First Assembly of God to NewLife Church of Bowling Green, Kentucky.  We truly have experienced new life – both spiritual and physical experiencing an historical 19 week city wide revival in 2011! Following this incredible move of the Holy Spirit, a 500+ seat auditorium was built, along with the purchase of ten additional adjacent properties expanding the campus, with many renovations to existing facilities and the establishment of the Bumble Bee Early Learning Center, a very large and successful daycare, that serves all of the greater region of Bowling Green, Kentucky. Along with four weekly adult services, there is ministry for children, teens and young adults. A vast Pastoral Care Ministry, increased pastoral positions, consistent discipleship, and leadership training, have all been implemented to serve the congregation, as well as the utilization of the five-fold ministry imparting gifts, ministry, fire and fresh anointing to the body of NewLife Church!

 As visionary leaders Tom & Cindy, along with an incredible leadership team, and the help, assistance and power of the Holy Spirit, are leading NewLife Church into its greatest days of vision and ministry, seeing the purposes of God established, and the equipping of God’s people “Winning Souls, Training Disciples & Making Jesus Famous!
